Thursday 30th October, 13.30 – 17.30
Academy of Medical Sciences, London
The Committee and Chair would like to thank all members who took part in our recent Annual Meeting and helped to make it such a success. A reasonable turn out heard talks from our own members from the technical as given by Richard Peck to the financial given by David Bell whilst Ulrike Lorch talked about current transparency rules and your Chairman spoke about the new Clinical Trial Directive. Thanks to Keith Wesnes for leading a stimulating discussion on the future of the organisation which was followed by details of the next European meeting and the inception of EUFEMED.
This is all summarised in the slide shows below and we would like you to put the Brussels date in your diaries now as we hope to see you there (20-22nd May 2015).
One theme was the need for an increase in membership; don’t forget that if we each invite just ONE new member our numbers will double! Such was the success of the meeting that we have already had 8 new applications for membership from just one CRO – let’s see if we can each emulate this!
Don’t forget that Elections for your Committee are due in the spring so please let us know if you would like to be involved.
Thank you for your continuing support.
